she's a spy....SSSHHHH!

The Big One is not loving school this year.  She says she is bored.  It has only been a week and she does not adjust to new situations well, so I'm taking that with a grain of salt.  Last night, she started in with the "I don't want to go to school tomorrow" whining.  I hate that she doesn't like it, but it is kind of necessary.  And I know that given another week or two she will love her new class.  I needed something that would make her look forward to going to school.  Something she would like to do.  I can only bribe with slushies so many times so I tried to think of something free and that she could do AT school.  Solution?  Make her a spy!!!!  You see, today is music day.  The Big One has no earthly idea what her music teacher's name is.  I know.   I asked her every single day last week.  So her secret spy assignment is to find out her music teachers name and report back to headquarters.  She can't tell anyone she's a spy and she decided that she can't just ask the lady her name.  She is really amused with this project, and truth be told, so am I!  I hope it goes well.  I'm already thinking up more assignments!
