Fetching

One of my friends is a pianist.  She teaches lessons and plays for our church.  Well, since it's been so cold here she's been freezing and trying to play with frozen fingers.  I assume this doesn't work out very well.  (I don't play piano either.)  So she asked for some fingerless gloves. Here they are:

The pattern is Fetching and can be found here.  These are relatively easy to make.  Putting in the thumb is the most frustrating part and it really is not hard.  I did modify this pair quite a bit.  I left off the picot bind off.  I did 12 rows past the thumb instead of 4.  And I guess that's all.  Maybe I didn't really modify them much after all.
